C. Douglas Kranwinkle, Former Executive V.P. of Univision Communications Inc.

Doug Kranwinkle, prior to his retirement December 31, 2012, was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Univision Communications Inc., a Spanish language media company. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Michigan Law School. Following law school, he was a Law Clerk to United States Chief Justice Earl Warren. Mr. Kranwinkle was a Partner at the Los Angeles law firms, Munger, Tolles & Olson (1968 through 1988) and O’Melveny & Myers (1989 to September 2000). 

Doug is currently a member of the board of the Rose Bowl Operating Company and of the Advisory Board to the Pasadena Education Foundation. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan Law School, a member of the American Law Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations, a board member of the National Association of Broadcasters, California Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA of Greater Los Angeles, Southern California Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media. He has also served as President of the Board of Trustees of Polytechnic School in Pasadena and as chair of a task force appointed by the Mayor and City Council of Pasadena, California. 

Doug and his wife, Susan, have lived in Pasadena since 1967. They have 2 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
