J. Kristoffer “Kris” Popovich, Chairman & Secretary Hoffman Associates, Inc.

Kris Popovich was born in Rochester, Minnesota, and became a resident of Pasadena the next year. Kris has three daughters and eight grandchildren. 

Kris attended the University of Southern California graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1965 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1970. 

Kris held the position of Chairman and CEO for Hoffman Video Systems from 1978 until the company was sold in 2010. Since 1998, he has been Chairman and Secretary for Hoffman Associates, Inc. He is also a Trustee for the H. Leslie & Elaine S. Hoffman Foundation. 

Since 1978, he has served the University of Southern California in various capacities, currently serving as a Trustee and Chairman of the Board of Leaders. 

Kris has been involved in numerous community organizations over the past 30 years, including Chairman, Board of Directors Kidspace Children’s Museum; Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Board of Directors; YMCA Metropolitan Los Angeles; Rancheros Visitadores; Criminal Justice Legal Foundation and Young President’s Organization. 

Kris enjoys membership in the Los Angeles Country Club, Annandale Golf Club, and Valley Hunt Club.
